Just thought I'd include this, given that it's now been given away.
Mum said she wanted one of those plastic bag holder things, now they've got a new sink (?!) (It actually makes sense, once you've seen their kitchen)
So I figured I'd make one (or try at least) and this is what happened. I haven't yet had a 'product test report' on it, but I'll get one after a couple of weeks and let you know how it's gone down :)
Very nifty! I had no idea you were into crafty sewing stuff Nick! No idea you even had a sewing machine - is this a new interest???
ReplyDeleteWell - I sort of nicked Granny's sewing machine. It's a Singer, and she was given it for her 21st birthday, so it's now 72 years old. I'm gonna have to take a photo of the heart I made for Anna (cheesey I know...). The fabric will be ... uh ... familiar.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you saw, but I said in response to a Trees comment that I'm considering starting a blog called 'manmade' to rival the zillions of woman-made ones ;) I did also concede that it would likely only be read by women! Having been keeping up with your blog, I'm tempted to move onto cushions ... they can't be too tricky surely. Straight lines and all that! Any suggestions of things that don't take too much prowess would be gratefully recieved :)
